Cambridge: Giovanni’s Caffè and Pizzeria Google Virtual Tour

Cambridge Giovanni’s Caffè and Pizzeria Google Virtual Tour

Giovanni’s Caffè and Pizzeria brings Italian flavour to Burleigh Street in Cambridge, with handmade Neapolitan pizza, Illy coffee and a welcoming setting for a morning cappuccino, lunch or dinner.

Led by owner and head chef Giovanni, the restaurant combines traditional Italian cooking with a particular connection to Sardinia. Its character extends beyond the menu, with indoor and outdoor seating giving guests different ways to enjoy their visit.

360 View created a Google Maps virtual tour to introduce that experience online. We photographed the restaurant during normal opening hours, worked around early coffee customers and connected the exterior, entrance, interior and outdoor seating into a natural journey.

Helping Guests Choose Somewhere to Eat in Cambridge

Someone visiting Cambridge for the day may be looking for a coffee stop, a relaxed lunch or somewhere to eat before heading home. Seeing the setting alongside the menu helps them picture whether a restaurant suits the visit they have in mind.

At Giovanni’s, the tour shows both the indoor atmosphere and the outdoor seating for those who prefer to sit outside. The exterior views also help someone unfamiliar with Burleigh Street recognise the restaurant when they arrive.

Local customers can use the same tour to discover somewhere they have not yet visited or share it with friends when making plans.

Giovanni’s menu offers plenty of reasons to stop, from pizza and antipasti to homemade tiramisù, with Sardinian wines and beers reflecting its Italian roots. Visit Giovanni’s own website for its menu and booking information.

Photographing While the Restaurant Stayed Open

We arrived as Giovanni’s opened for the day. Early customers were already coming in for coffee, so we photographed around them, pausing when necessary and waiting for clear views before continuing.

The session took approximately one hour. The restaurant continued serving, and nobody needed to arrive specially to let us in outside normal opening hours.

Working this way required patience and attention to what was happening around the camera. Taking a little more time between photographs helped us show the space clearly while respecting the customers and staff using it.

For a restaurant owner planning a similar project, the timing deserves as much consideration as the photography. We discuss opening hours, customer activity and the areas to include so the session fits the business. Our virtual tour preparation guide explains how to get the space ready.

The Care Behind the Finished Tour

The tour needed to communicate Giovanni’s welcoming Italian character and make the restaurant comfortable to explore.

We planned viewpoints around the entrance, interior and outdoor seating, considering both what each photograph showed and how it connected to the next. This gives visitors a clearer understanding of the layout as they move through the space.

Editing included removing the tripod and its shadow, along with private information. These finishing details keep attention on the restaurant rather than the equipment used to photograph it.

The embedded tour lets you inspect that work for yourself: look around the seating, examine the image detail and follow the route between areas. Experienced photography, careful editing and thoughtful navigation all contribute to the finished experience.

Published on Google in Approximately Three Days

The completed tour was published to Giovanni’s Google Maps business profile approximately three days after photography. It became available through Google Maps and Street View, with access through the restaurant’s business profile in Google Search.

The published imagery carries the 360 View UK attribution and September 2026 image date, connecting the finished work to this project.

A Google tour can also be embedded on a business’s own website, allowing visitors to explore alongside its menu and booking information. Our service includes a shareable link and website embed code, with support to help clients use the finished tour.

Planning a Restaurant Virtual Tour Outside London?

360 View provides Google Maps virtual tours in Cambridge and across the UK. Giovanni’s demonstrates how we bring the same attention to photography, navigation and customer care to a business outside London.

Will we need to close for photography?

Giovanni’s remained open throughout the session. We worked around customers and waited for suitable moments to photograph.

For your venue, we’ll discuss the areas to capture and a suitable time around your normal activity. An early session may work well, as it did here.

Can you include our outdoor seating?

Yes. This project includes the restaurant’s outdoor seating alongside the interior and entrance. Tell us about any terrace, garden or other customer areas you would like to show so we can plan them into the coverage.

How do we get a price for our location?

Send us your business address or Google Maps link, the approximate size and the indoor and outdoor areas you want to include. Let us know your preferred timing and what you want the tour to achieve.

We’ll recommend suitable coverage and confirm a fixed quotation before booking. You can see current pricing and what is included on our Google Maps virtual tour service page.

What happens after publication?

We help you share the tour and use it on your website. Support continues after delivery, and you can contact us to discuss updates if your layout or presentation changes.

You can also explore our recent projects to see how we approach other businesses and spaces.
