Created several years earlier by another provider, the old tour had dark interior images, visible tripod equipment and confusing connections between rooms. Moving through it could leave visitors facing an unexpected direction or appearing to pass through a wall or closed door.

Why the clinic wanted a better virtual tour
The management team’s priority was the experience of someone exploring the clinic online. They wanted visitors to understand where they were, see the rooms clearly and move between spaces without becoming disorientated.
The previous tour had several problems:
- Dark interior photography: rooms looked gloomy, with poor image quality making the space difficult to appreciate.
- Visible tripod equipment: the tripod remained visible at the bottom of the panoramas.
- Ghosting in exterior images: moving cars appeared partly transparent or repeated in overlapping positions.
- Confusing navigation: connections appeared to pass through closed doors and walls, sometimes taking visitors into another space facing an unexpected direction.
Together, these issues distracted from the clinic itself. The replacement needed to give visitors a clearer, more welcoming introduction to the facility.
Preparing the clinic for photography
We began with a walkthrough to check the spaces and plan the route through the clinic. This also gave us an opportunity to identify anything that would distract from the finished photographs.
Working with the clinic team, we helped organise the rooms, remove clutter and move items that did not need to appear in the tour. Some stored items had to be moved between rooms so each space could be photographed once it was ready.
This preparation matters in 360° photography because visitors can look in every direction, including behind the camera and down towards the floor. A distracting object can be much more noticeable than it would be in a conventional photograph.
The visit took approximately two hours, including the initial walkthrough, preparation and photography. We allowed time for rooms to be organised as we progressed, giving each area the attention it needed before capture.
Creating a clearer route through the clinic

We planned the viewpoints around how the spaces connect, with natural viewing positions and a clear path to follow. The aim was to help visitors retain their sense of direction as they moved from one area to another.
